MOUTHS

Image
EVERY ONE HAS A MOUTH, A MOUTH TO HELP YOU TO COMMUNICATE WELL. WE USE IT TO LAUGH, TO SMILE, TO SHOUT, TO WHISPER AND TO GAIN ENERGY BY WHICH IS THE MOST ESSENTIAL THING IN LIFE. HOWEVER, DO YOU EVER WONDER WHAT IS THE MOST MALICIOUS THING IN THIS WORLD? NOT THE RADIATION IN FUKUSHIMA, JAPAN; NOT THE TSUNAMI THAT KILLED A LOT OF PEOPLE LIKE IN ACHEH, NOT SARS THAT EVER SPREAD AND KILLED LOTS OF PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD, NOT THE VIRUS THAT CAUSED YOUR COMPUTER TO BECOME CRAZY, NOT VIPER. EVERYTHING IS NOT CONSIDERED AS THE MOST MALICIOUS THING IN THE WORLD, THEN WHAT SHOULD IT BE? ...  TO TELL YOU, IT IS OURSELVES, BEING A HUMAN BEING, OUR MOUTHS THAT BRING A LOT OF DISASTER EVEN WHEN YOU DID NOT NOTICE WHAT YOUR YOUR SPEECH ARE. WHY SOMEONE GOT ANOREXIA NERVOSA, BULIMIA? THERE ARE A LOT OF FACTORS, THE MOST CRITICAL ONE IS FROM HIS OR HER FRIENDS, RELATIVES OR ACQUAINTANCES. JUST A SIMPLY, "YOU ARE FAT.", OR SOMETIMES YOU DO NOT MEAN THAT, BUT JUST JOKING, IT MIGHT

Architecture Life

Image
I'm currently studying architecture, and as what we know, to become an architect, it is a long journey, 6-7 years for us to finish our part II degree, another few more years to get the Ar. in front of our surname or it is known as Part III. It is going to be a tough time for us, but i believe that it is worth to pay for the hard works. Architects are the doctor of building, we played around with design. By using the same materials, like bricks, concrete, glass, architects come out with different designs. The bricks are like the knowledge and experiences we gain throughout the years we study, the gazebo refers to the dream all architecture students have, that is to become an architect. Without having those bricks stacking up together, no gazebo will be formed. Hence, once again, I believe that the 8-10 years is worth our time striving for our dream, to become a designer who is allowed to draw, design and build up the buildings with all the stories behind. No sweat, no gain!

22/11/2013- Presentation on Gazebo Design

Image
We are given two weeks to design a gazebo but ended up, we left one week to do it. I admit that we had a poor time management,  because we spent time on the other theoretical subjects' assignment. In this short duration, I came out with a gazebo design without any columns, with just curvilinear component as my main design. My gazebo's model After presenting, i was told that my design is more into a landscape design. I can't really understand this, seems that I design the seats directly on to the floor. If I didn't design more on the plan, that is the seats, where else can i design? On the other hand, my roof is not compatible with the design of my plan? I'm confused. Anyone  with constructive criticism is the most welcomed!
